Emergency Supply Kits

One simple way to be prepared for an emergency is to develop an emergency kit of supplies.  All citizens should consider creating an emergency kit with the necessary items and tools in case of an emergency. If you have a disability, be sure to consider adding items to the list that my be unique to you and your disability. For example, if you use any assistive technology, do you need additional batteries? There are other special consideration for people with disabilities.

A good resource for planning the contents of your kit can be found at: http://www.getreadyforflu.org/clocksstocks/clocksdocs/stockpilingchecklist.doc.
