The purpose of this training is to enhance our understanding of how to be welcoming, accessible, and accommodating when working with people with disabilities. Through the presentation and activities, the following questions will be answered:
- Who are people with disabilities? (Know your audience)
- What do I say? (Know why language matters)
- What can I do? (Know how to better assist people with disabilities)
